Jungle meets the sea with a friendly holiday vibe The hotel is in a perfect location of Montezuma, overlooking the small town with sea and pool views. The rooms are spacious, with excellent air con and unique touches to them. There is wildlife all around from Iguanas to Monkeys and beautiful birds (we enjoyed our stay so much, we returned a week later after going to La Fortuna). Gabriel was very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him to do, he was also informative and helped us out if we needed a lift or informationregarding buses, tours and places to visit, he became a great friend we hope to see again. Lovely experience The property location is ideal, offering a view of both the main street of Montezuma and the sea in the background. In our opinion, it is the best accommodation option if you want to stay in the heart of the town. The pool is an undeniable attraction. It is well-maintained, as is the property as a whole. The staff is welcoming and always willing to help. Note: This place is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The bathroom is very small. The designated parking (located 100 meters uphill) is limited and on a steep slope. Despite the no parking sign, it was possible to park on the street in front of the hotel.

Experiencia Increíble Es un acogedor, el muchacho Gabriel super atento muy bien servicio. Solamente que la señora que hace limpieza es un poco rigurosa, pero todo lo demás super bien muy agradecida porque todo estaba limpio y super maravillada con la piscina y jacuzzi muy limpio.

Friendly, nicely thought out hotel Now let me start by saying this hotel isn't perfect, it has a very steep drive, the room was fairly basic and the air con could do with a bit of work - however, the pricing certainly matched and this place had some great features too. Staff - the owner (I believe) who also worked on reception was a very friendly guy and was very helpful if you had any questions or needed anything. They provided biscuits, bananas and water in reception even though it was not a bed a breakfast. There's no safety deposit boxes in the room but they will keep any valuables locked away in reception and they seemed very honest and obliging if you needed to get anything from it or add to it. Rooms - Although the room was basic, it's pleasant enough, clean and has all you need. It had a nice area outside with wooden sun beds and a hammock for lazing around on. Very nice to chill out early evening before heading the very short walk to the shops for food/drinks etc Pools - 2 pools close together (one's just a higher level) a few steps up. Nice seat area in one and a slight jacuzzi, not very strong but again pleasant enough. The grounds are beautifully kept and are a major plus to the hotel. Location - Excellent location as right next to the shops/bars and restaurants but I'm guessing because our room was up a steep driveway, noise didn't really seem an issue. A nice stay all in all and a location (Montezuma) and a hotel we'd consider staying in again should we return.

Amazing hotel! This hotel is right off the main street , the property is beautiful . The pool is big and there is a jacuzzi . The staff are wonderful . This is our go to place in Montezuma!! We were steps away from grocery store , beach, restaurants and waterfalls . Highly recommend

Beautiful Perfect little room. Amazing pools. Great staff. Wonderful location. My children and I enjoyed a fabulous 2 days here but would have happily stayed for 2 weeks. Plenty of places nearby to eat. I definitely recommend the walk to playa grande.

El Jardin is a gem! I was happy to return again to Montezuma and stay at El Jardin, my home away from home. It is honestly the best hotel that is close to the center where the restaurants and stores are. I saw more wildlife on the property than I did at the Cabo Blanco park. The view from my cabin was incredible and worth the few steps up the hill at the back of the property. It was nice and quiet and you can hear the ocean waves all night, especially after Chico's bar closes. The gardens and flowers are beautiful and the pools are very inviting. I was still able to rent a scooter, as before, and used it to get to the park and waterfall. Absolutely, the most friendly staff and Gabriel really makes you feel welcomed. He arranges transportation and has connections for tour guides and surfing instructors. This place has it all. Can't wait for my next return!

Super lieu L'hôtel est super joli, petit coin de paradis à l'entrée du village, à deux pas de la plage, des restaurants et boutiques de souvenirs. Piscine à double étage avec jacuzzi top. Vous pourrez croiser des racoons, écureuil, iguanes, singes et autres animaux de la biodiversité du Costa Rica. La chambre attribuée est propre et bien équipée (réfrigérateur et climatiseur). Pas de petit déjeuner ni restaurant mais tout est à proximité direct. Vous avez à disposition à la réception des fruits, café et eau fraiche, ce qui est très appréciable. Gabriel m'a accueilli de la meilleure des façon, souriant, très sympathique et de bons conseils. Merci encore!
